Walking through this page

When you open this page, you'll land on a dark header up top — that's just the summary, telling you how many posts are scheduled and across which apps (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

There's a row of links right under that header — click any of them to jump straight to that part of the page instead of scrolling:

Summary — the short version of what changed and why.
Why these choices — the reasoning behind everything. Why every post has to feel warm and fun, why we lock in at least two Story posts a day, why nothing repeats the same look twice in a row.
Live schedule — an actual table of every post, the day and time it goes out, and which apps it's going to. Everything marked "Live" is really scheduled — not a maybe.
New shake videos — the videos made this week for the Strawberry, Orange Dream, and Espresso shakes, plus the two combined highlight reels. Just press play on any of them right on the page.
Week 1 storyboard content — every piece built, grouped by the day it's meant for. Scroll through and see the actual image or video for each one, with a line explaining what it is.
Full planning documents — the deep-dive, if you want it: the actual strategy notes behind the whole plan, written out in full. You don't need to read this to understand what's posting — it's there for anyone who wants the "why" behind the "why."
Plain-English glossary — if a word like "Reel" or "Story" or "feed post" doesn't mean anything to you, this explains it in a couple sentences.

Nothing on this page needs a login, and it won't show up if you search for it online — it's just for us. If anything looks off or you'd change something, just say so before it goes out.

Built with the Vivere Media Engine — a learning model built off our own real data, routines, and campaigns, that we can revisit weekly or spin back up at a moment's notice with a single command prompt.
Executive Summary

What's happening and why

We rebuilt the social content pipeline around one idea: every post should feel like it was made specifically for Mimi's — not a template stretched across a month. That meant fixing a "cookie-cutter" problem (same look, same sound, same layout, over and over) and replacing it with real variety: different animation styles, different music beds generated fresh for each piece, real Mimi's photos and footage instead of stock content standing in for our products, and a locked rule of at least 2 story posts every single day.

Along the way, a few pieces of the old, already-scheduled calendar got replaced outright — most notably a "Sandwich Day" post that used generic franchise-style language; it's now a proper 3-day Waffle Taco Day build-up that's ours, made locally, no chain-restaurant undertones.

This week also added three brand-new "fan favorite" shake showcases (Strawberry, Orange Dream, The Espresso) built from real footage you supplied, plus a combined highlight reel narrated by a warm, clean voice, closing with Mimi herself making an appearance.

Reasoning & Storyboard

The rules behind the schedule

Smile Baseline. Every single piece — even a plain "here are our hours" story — has to read as fun, warm, and uplifting. Nothing preachy, nothing salesy-desperate. If a draft didn't make us smile, it got rewritten.
2 stories a day, no exceptions. Instagram and Facebook Stories are how people check in on us casually throughout the day. We locked in a minimum of two story posts every day, spaced through the afternoon/evening, on top of whatever feed posts or reels are running.
No repeated look twice in a row. We track every technique, animation style, font pairing, and piece of music used, so the same "recipe" never shows up on back-to-back posts. Six different things are tracked per post (technique, tone, audio choice, image source, platform, format) specifically so nothing reads as copy-pasted.
Locally-owned voice, not franchise voice. Joe caught language that read like a chain-restaurant playbook (the old Sandwich Day post). Every post now speaks like the actual family-owned shop on Main Street it is — no "locations," no corporate phrasing.
Format matches content, not the other way around. A trivia question gets a game-show quiz layout. A customer review gets a magazine-style card with gold stars. A real behind-the-counter moment gets real video, not an animated photo standing in for it. The format is chosen by what the content actually is.
Family Fun Night stays honest. Per Joe's direction, FFN promotion never promises specific games or events beyond what's actually on the tables that night — the copy reads exactly: "board games on the tables, puzzles, Connect Four, cards."

Full Planning Record

The complete strategy documents

Everything above was built from two planning documents, both drafted by our planning model (internally called "Fable 5") and handed to the build model ("Sonnet") to execute exactly. Nothing here is summarized or trimmed — this is the actual working record, kept in full for transparency.

Document 1 — 45-Day Storyboard (Jul 24 – Sep 7, 2026)

Authored by Fable 5 (planning pass), 2026-07-23 · Execution: Sonnet builds everything in it.

1. The core funnel — every post serves exactly one goal.
STORE (walk in today) — cravings content, real footage, "today only" boards — measured by profile visits & foot traffic.
FOLLOW (grow the audience) — satire, trivia, debates, shareable jokes — measured by follows/shares/saves.
TRUST (convert the curious) — reviews, family story, real people — measured by saves & comment sentiment.
WEB (menu/party/catering funnel) — party funnels, menu links — measured by linkinbio sessions.
A post that tries to do all four does none — every build gets labeled with its ONE goal first.
1.5 The Smile Baseline (Joe, 2026-07-23 — tone floor for everything). Every piece passes one gate before render: would this make someone smile? Fun, uplifting, warm — never sarcastic-at-someone's-expense, never corporate-neutral, never just informational. An hours card can still charm ("we're here till the sprinkles run out"); a location card can still wink ("follow the smell of fresh waffle cones"). If a draft is merely correct, it's not done.
1.6 Campaign structure law (from the "cookie-cutter" audit). A week is a campaign, not a list: every tentpole gets a 2–3-beat teaser arc in one visual world; recurring franchises get a fixed, recognizable lockup (variety lives inside the frame, not in the frame itself); every piece carries one measurable call-to-action built into the pixels; and a fixed daily posting-time grid keeps the rhythm consistent (11:30a feed · 12:45p flavor board · 3p story · 6:30p story · +8p story Fri/Sat).

2. Format law — the format matches the content's job

Variety law: every build logs a six-axis fingerprint (technique, register, audio, source, platform, pacing) — no combination repeats within 3 builds. Image law: no reusing the same photo across builds within 2 weeks; stock is allowed only for generic textures, never standing in for Mimi's own product, store, or people.

3. The weekly rhythm (repeats every week)

Cadence cap: 6 feed posts/week max + daily board + 2–4 stories. Never more than 2 non-daily posts per day per platform.

4. Dated tentpoles inside this 45-day window

Tue Aug 25National Banana Split DayThe Augie window — reuse pilot flagship + reimagined spotlight
Fri Aug 28Last Scoops of SummerWarm campaign video, golden grade, slow
Mon Sep 7Labor DayStatic + story — confirm hours with Joe by Sep 1
5. Asset dependencies. A ~90-minute phone film day (Joe) unlocks Tuesday spotlights for weeks 3–6 — until then, weeks 1–2 draw on unused Dropbox clips + ~40 never-posted photos. Every MusicGen bed gets a fresh instrument/genre prompt, logged as its own audio fingerprint — never the same prompt rendered twice in a row. The review bank gets refreshed by Joe from Google Business Profile once the current 5 reviews are used (~end of week 5).
7. Approval gate — unchanged, non-negotiable. Everything renders locally → Joe reviews (previews or the hub Library) → only then does it get scheduled. This rule governed every single piece on this page.

Document 2 — August–October 2026 Storyboard & Build Guide

Authored by Fable 5 (planning pass), 2026-07-17 · the companion document holding dated tentpoles, the satire pool, and the review bank.

The five content pillars

PillarCadenceFormat
Daily Flavor BoardEvery day, 12:45 PM MT9s video, fully automated
Campaign builds1–2 / month7–10s multi-scene promo
Satire drops1 / week6–7s standalone card
Menu spotlights1 / week6–7s single-item feature
Community / seasonalAs datedVaries
Review showcase1 / week~9s star-cascade review card
Design law (non-negotiable, every build): HyperFrames video-first, 1080×1350; Pacifico display + Poppins body; brand reds/gold on near-black; shop's own photos only (blurred/dimmed), never the same background as the previous 3 days; no hard divider lines; one decisive glow bloom max; logo is always mainlogo_clean.webp; every build passes an automated check (0 errors, contrast AA) before render; captions stay warm and local, IG gets exactly 5 hashtags, TikTok never posts to account 54565.
Technique variety mandate (Joe, 2026-07-17: "vast usage of techniques… high-end and professional vs mass built"). Every non-daily build carries a distinct signature technique that a viewer remembers — no technique repeats within any 3 consecutive non-daily builds. Every build's technique is logged in a running ledger and checked before the next build starts. The technique palette spans kinetic type, path/mask reveals, camera depth moves, choreographed entrances, and flourishes like glow blooms or seeded particle effects.

Satire system (4 rotating formats, Joe-approved)

1. TOTALLY REAL FACT — impossible claims deadpanned. 2. FROM THE DICTIONARY — invented terms in a real dictionary layout. 3. A WISE MAN ONCE SAID — anticlimactic wisdom. 4. PROBABLY A REAL QUOTE — historical figures + ", probably."

Safety rails (hard rules): long-dead historical figures only, always tagged ", probably"; never living people; never attach a fake fact to a real offer or price; never a health claim anyone could act on; politics and religion are off-limits entirely. Theme lock: every joke must be about ice cream, dessert, the parlor, or Delta itself — if the punchline works without ice cream in it, it doesn't make the pool.
Review bank ("Delta Loves Mimi's") — real reviews only. Every quote is pulled verbatim from the site's testimonials, never invented, edited, or paraphrased. No Google logo — text credit only. The queue: Avalanche review (posted) · "Best ice cream I've had in decades…" · Corrina Kuipers · Danielle Beal · Elizabeth Martinez · "Every single item…made with love." Joe refreshes the bank from Google Business Profile once these run out.

Open items still waiting on Joe

Labor Day hours (needed by Sep 1) · fall menu yes/no + flavor list (needed by Sep 14) · Halloween event yes/no (needed by Oct 1) · Banana Split Day sponsor — pitch Tiffany Hunt again? (needed by Aug 18) · an existing hours conflict on the site flagged in an earlier session.

The Big Picture

In-house build vs. an outside marketing company

This section is the honest comparison — where doing this in-house genuinely wins, where it doesn't, and what an outside agency relationship would actually look like next to what we have now. Nothing here is sales copy; it's the real tradeoffs.

Build quality & complexity, side by side

What mattersDoing it ourselvesA typical outside agency
Footage & photosReal Mimi's product, real store, real people — never stock standing in for usOften licensed stock footage dressed up with your logo
MusicFreshly generated per video, logged so nothing repeatsSame royalty-free library track reused across dozens of clients
Turnaround on a revisionSame day — often the same conversationBuilt into a monthly retainer cycle; changes wait for the next round
Consistency checkingEvery build passes an automated pass (layout, contrast, motion) before it shipsVaries enormously by agency; rarely disclosed
Who owns the system afterWe do — the templates, the ledger, the whole pipeline stays oursThe agency owns the process; you're renting output, not a system
Production polishPhone-shot footage, not a videographer's lighting rigCan look more "produced" if the agency actually shoots on-site
Scale ceilingBounded by how much time Joe/the team can give itBounded by budget — an agency can throw more people at more volume

The honest tradeoff: we get more control, faster iteration, and we keep the system — but it costs Joe's own time, and it will never look like a studio commercial. An agency buys back that time at the cost of ownership and speed.

The funnel — our own site, not a rented one

The site (mimissweettreats.com) is ours outright — not a template hosted by an agency that could hold it hostage if we ever left. Social media's whole job is to point back at it, or at the door:

STORE — real footage, cravings content, "today only" boards → drives walk-ins today. Measured by profile visits and foot traffic.
FOLLOW — satire, trivia, shareable jokes → grows the audience so STORE content reaches more people next time. Measured by follows, shares, saves.
TRUST — real reviews, real family story → turns a curious follower into a customer. Measured by saves and comment sentiment.
WEB — party funnels and menu links, each with its own tracked link → the one channel with a real dollar number on the other end (bookings, catering). Measured through the link-in-bio page's per-button tracking straight into the site's own analytics.

Every single post is labeled with exactly ONE of these four jobs before it's built — a post trying to do all four ends up doing none of them.

Monetization — what's actually driving revenue vs. what's brand-building

Two different jobs get conflated a lot in social media, so we keep them separate on purpose:

Direct revenue: STORE content driving same-day walk-ins, and WEB content driving higher-ticket party/catering bookings through the tracked links.

Brand equity (pays off later, not today): FOLLOW and TRUST content — a bigger, warmer audience that becomes the customer base for the direct-revenue posts down the road, and that gives us pricing power because people already trust us before they walk in.

Honest gap: this is currently a fully organic, no-paid-spend model — there's no ad budget behind any of this yet. That's a real lever we haven't pulled. A wholesale program was explored earlier and pulled back from the live site; it's documented but not currently active.

Obstacles we've actually hit, and how we worked around them

The "cookie-cutter" problem. Early content all started to look and sound the same. Fix: the six-axis variety ledger and the technique log — nothing repeats within 3 builds, checked automatically before every render.
Legacy content that didn't match our voice. An already-scheduled post used generic franchise-style language. Fix: audited the whole calendar, pulled it, rebuilt it as Waffle Taco Day — ours, local, no chain-restaurant undertone.
The narration tool we normally use wasn't available. Fix: found a local voice engine that needed no account at all, so the work didn't stall waiting on it.
Still open: a Cloudflare setting is misconfigured so cache purges silently fail (fix requires 5 minutes in the dashboard); the review bank of real testimonials will run dry in a few weeks and needs a manual refresh from Google Business Profile; and this session surfaced a git repository rooted at the whole user folder rather than the project — flagged, not touched, waiting on a decision.

Forecasting & reimagining — built into the process, not an afterthought

The 45-day plan already has dated tentpoles mapped out (Root Beer Float Day, Banana Split Day, Halloween) with a fallback baked in for each — "real footage if the film day delivers it, otherwise the best owned photo instead." A weekly review checkpoint asks which of the four funnel goals actually won the week and adjusts the next week's slate accordingly — the rhythm stays fixed, the content inside it adapts. This week's Sandwich Day → Waffle Taco Day swap is exactly this process working as intended, mid-flight, not a one-off scramble.

How we'll actually know if it's working

No invented numbers here — we don't have real analytics baked into this report yet, and making up traction figures would defeat the whole point of this page being honest. What we do have is the measurement model above (profile visits, follows/saves/shares, comment sentiment, tracked link clicks) and a weekly checkpoint built to read it. The real traction read starts once a full week has actually run and we can look at what moved.

Loose ends worth deciding on soon

No paid spend yet. Everything above is a fully organic model. Worth a decision on if/when to test a small ad budget behind the STORE or WEB posts specifically.
The review bank is finite. "Delta Loves Mimi's" is down to its last few real testimonials and will run dry in a few weeks — needs a manual refresh from Google Business Profile before then.
Cache purge is quietly broken. A Cloudflare zone ID is misconfigured, so cache purges for the live site silently no-op. A 5-minute dashboard fix, just hasn't been done yet.
An unrelated repo hazard. This session's tooling turned up a git repository rooted at the whole user folder instead of the project itself — flagged, deliberately not touched, waiting on a decision on whether it's worth fixing.
Who sees the numbers, once there are numbers. The measurement model exists (profile visits, saves/shares, tracked link clicks); the actual weekly snapshot doesn't exist yet because a week hasn't run. Worth deciding now whether Naomi gets that recap too, or just Joe.
For Naomi

Plain-English glossary

Reel — a short video post that shows up in the main Instagram/Facebook feed and in the dedicated "Reels" tab, and can be discovered by people who don't follow us yet.

Story — a post that shows up at the top of the app for 24 hours only, in the round bubble row. More casual, more frequent, disappears after a day.

Feed post — a normal photo or video post that stays on our profile permanently.

MusicGen bed — background music generated fresh for a specific video, rather than reusing a stock track — so no two videos sound alike.

4:5 crop — a slightly-taller-than-square version of an image, sized for the main feed rather than full-screen Stories.
